材料学院“材子论坛”暨青年学术沙龙系列报告会第186场成功举办

2016年11月3日周四上午8:00,中南大学材料学院青年科协联合院研究生会举办的青年学术沙龙第186场在科南502教室顺利举行,本次学术沙龙的主讲人为瑞士苏黎世联邦工学院的Manfred. Roth博士,材料科学与工程学院刘立斌教授等师生到场参加。
报告会题目为“Problem Solving and Failure Analysis by Auger and ESCA”,Manfred. Roth博士详细讲述了表面及界面存在的问题,及其分析方法。用俄歇电子及其X射线进行检测,得出了一些结论。用索道轴承断裂作为案例进行分析,展示了轴承断口照片,分析了裂纹产生、分布等原因,解释了轴承疲劳断裂时产生的三个疲劳区域原因。在讲解过程中Manfred. Roth博士结合丰富的肢体语言与同学们积极互动。报告结束后,Manfred. Roth博士与在场师生进行了热情的交流,细心回答同学们提出的问题,并鼓励同学们要刻苦努力,多动脑筋,勤思考。全场掌声热烈不断。
